A takeover series by Paula Codoñer

Across all artistic endeavours, Spanish photographer & art director Paula Codoñer seeks to achieve a visual balance appealing to all the senses.

Rich in texture and colour in a way that only the film process can produce, each of Paula’s photographs are a testament to the analogue approach she adopts. As co-founder of Malvarrosa Film Lab, her creative control extends to an area many photographers hand over to a technician.

In a whimsical series for AÃRK titled ‘Marea‘ elements such as circles and spheres serve as visual representations of the moon and the cyclical nature of time. Shared during a week-long takeover on Instagram @paulacodoner explores visual compositions contemplating the power of the full moon and its effect on both flora and mankind alike.
